The CardioResource project brings together a multidisciplinary consortium of IT specialists, data managers, cardiologists, paediatric cardiologists, clinical geneticists, laboratory experts, and ELSI researchers from all Dutch UMCs, focused on advancing research in inherited heart conditions. The initiative aims to establish a national data infrastructure linking clinical, genetic, and imaging data, enabling deeper insights into disease mechanisms and ultimately improving patient care and family outcomes. Within this landscape, DCM-Next is prominently highlighted for their contributions to data integration and translational research, alongside other EiC-funded initiatives that collectively strengthen the Dutch and European ecosystem for precision cardiology.
