As part of the Long Night of Science 2024 at MDC in Berlin, an interactive artwork was presented to spark public discussion on single-cell genomics and dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). This creative approach bridged art and science, making complex research topics more engaging and accessible.
The research group led by Enrique Lara-Pezzi (CNIC, Madrid) took part in the 2024 Researchers’ Night, bringing science to life through hands-on activities! Using LEGO models, they introduced the public to the fascinating world of genome editing, making complex concepts fun and accessible for all ages.
The first in-person meeting of the DCM-NEXT consortium took place in Amsterdam at the AMC on February 9, 2024.
